Erica is an employment attorney who spent most of her career as an Employee Relations Director at Aramark, providing consulting and training to HR, managers, and employees on a variety of HR compliance topics.
In 2018, Erica founded Employee Relations Consulting to provide proactive training, consulting, and coaching and ensure fairness, respect, and legally compliant treatment of all employees. In addition to her formal education and training, Erica offers practical, real-world experience applying laws and regulations, implementing policies on a national scale, involving all stakeholders in all projects, and conducting interactive, impactful, and customized training programs to clients.
Erica’s passion lies in promoting workplace civility. She creates and conducts interactive training with clients on workplace civility. She has found that many times if an employee is a good technician, they are promoted to management positions, but are often never provided with the tools to be a successful manager (such as civility).
In addition to being a workplace civility expert, her areas of expertise include policy interpretation and application, leaves of absence, accommodation requests, discipline, documentation, EEOC responses, mediations, investigations, and DEI initiatives.Erica has a BA from Lehigh University, a JD from Rutgers University, and a Certificated in DEI from Cornell University.
